Getting rid of sweet gum roots
I had a sweet gum tree removed, and the stump ground. But the roots are going under my mobile home. Trees are sprouting under the mobile home. How do I kill the roots? If I leave them, they will move the supports under the mobile home.
    Thank you WaBeHS

Can't see any difference between sumac or sweet gum
    Here's 'bout 30 ways:

Try to get a herbicide with one of or all of the big three, triclopyr, garlon, glyphosphate, the 2,4 -D is another good one.
I've seen two together, never three.

If you do use any of these, Please follow the instructions... Family living with you in trailer? Anyone sensitive? Even you if your by yourself may want to leave for the day, because of the fumes rising up through the floor :(

Using organics takes longer salt brine, sugar, straight bleach... 2 to 3weeks, instead of a week, 10days.
