I watched a movie on channel 4 about a year ago that I'm pretty sure was American and made after about 2004 (?). I can only remember small bits of it but it was about a young girl who was treated badly by her mother who stole money from her while she was in hospital (don't know why). She gave birth to a baby in a supermarket and lived there for a while. Then got taken in by a nice old woman who had a husband and lived in a cabin-like house. The old woman was a florist and gave her a big basket of flowers when they met. She lived in the cabin with them for years but one day it got blown away by a hurricane and the old woman died. She left all her land and possessions to the young girl and she then built a new house on the same bit of land for her own children.
Anyone know the name of the film? Help is much appreciated
