I brought my 2008 Honda Civic into the dealer on 5/29/09 and the noise I was hearing was evaluated as originating with the power steering unit. Under the warranty the power steering rack was replaced (at 10,228 miles). At 12,000 miles (7/31/09) the same noise started again. I was advised to bring it back into the dealership. Why should this problem reoccur as they replaced the power steering unit back in May. I cannot find a recall for this problem by Honda.
