Hi Ochi, Wondergirl is absolutely right, they do it if they feel a bit sick the help settle their stomachs.

I was just wondering though, how did you come to have a 6 week old puppy?
Good breeders will not sell their puppies under 8 weeks old.

I'm not going to give the lecture, just something to think about.

Grass helps dogs feel better when their tummy hurts.

    Good Luck!:)

My dogs eat a certain weed for their tummies and then they sometimes vomit it up.
I always have to leave some weeds in the yard in a certain place, so they can access. And I have to remember not to spray it with Weed killer, which would harm the dogs.

They also like to eat the plants that grow from bird seeds dropping on the ground.

So when you look at my yard, don't think I'm lazy for not pulling weeds, it's all the dogs fault.

Speaking of nasty things dogs like to eat. :)
My dog who was an adult and very well mannered when I had my first child could not seem to resist his poo diapers.
I was breastfeeding and there is something about the digested breast milk that some dogs are greatly attracted to.

    That... is nasty Arty!
Just the smell of poopy diapers is enough to make me run a mile!

Bunny poo isn't actually bad for your dogs either Shaz.

Rabbit poo is mainly protein, they don't digest things the same way we do, in fact, many rabbits in the wild survive through the winter by eating their own poo.

Okay, I bet you guys didn't want to know that.

Another bit of useless rabbit info by Alty. ;)

I knew bunnies eat their own poo, didn't know they could do it to survive though!

I see mine just sitting their with a funny look on their face, then they dive their head between their legs and come up chewing, not cool :D

I always yell at the dogs and kick them out of the laundry if I see them sniffing for poo (some falls onto the floor when I'm cleaning)
Now I know it's not that bad though, thanks!

Prada is in love with Dora, she gets up on her back legs so she can reach the cage and cleans Doras ears, I'll have to take a picture, it's cute.
