Lawnflight 8/26 turning over slow brake?
    Hi all

I have a Lawnflight 8/26 ride on mower I have only purchased it second hand today when you try and turn it over it will only turn over very slow I have taken the plug out and tried turning git over so there is no compression and its still as slow I have taken the head off and the piston and bore all seem to be very good but still very slow to turn over even with the head off

There appears to be some kind of brake stopping it from turning but I don't seem to be able to find out where it is or how to access it

Looking at it it sits inside what I would call the fly wheel does anyone know how this works or how I can access it? Or if there is even a brake under there could even be a cable that has broken that releases this please help

    Hi,
I have not heard of one with a brake; I guess anything is possible, but usually only push mowers use those. How about model numbers?
Under the seat or rear of frame. Or, engine numbers, above the spark plug.
    Peace,
    Clarke
