    Washer starting capacitor blew up
I have an old Kenmore 80 series washer. Its original oil starting capacitor leaked and finally burned out. I replaced it with the same value (189-227MFD 125VAC) dry capacitor which worked OK for a few minutes than blew up. My question - what can be the cause? Dry rather than oil starting capacitor? Or the centrifugal switch remains closed (I am not sure such a thing in the washing machine) or something else? Keep replacing the starting caps are an expensive experiment. Please help. Thanks.
