I have a kitchenaid side by side refrigerator model # KSRW25FHWHW01 manufactured 04/00. The center divider between the frige and freezer is running hot sometimes, the inside temperature in the frige and freezer is not cold enough, water puddles under the unit, and the condenser is very very hot to the touch. Can it be fixed? Andy

Have you pulled it out and inspected the back of it?

I did, and found the puddle of water below the condensation tray. I cleaned all the coils and the large round black canister (compressor maybe) is very very hot to the touch. Andy

In the meantime turn the temp down to center
On the inside dial keep it closed over night

Personally I think its toast unless

You have experienced a drastic change in temp. inside the home.
They do have to play catch up if that's the case
The water could be no more than heavy condensation

If you cleaned the coils and its still running hot, make sure the little fan in the back by the coils you cleaned is running.
