Non english letters on an english keyboard?
I would like to put these characters, or this picture, into my signature (it says Ayla) but since pictures are not allowed in signatures, how do I make these characters with an american keyboard, if its even possible?

Or could someone make them into a text for me here on the thread, and I'm sure I could copy and paste it woulndt that work?

    Here are the letters...

If helpinhere has the right characters you can cut and paste what she posted.
The first character looks a bit different though

    Sorry, but I'm a he. :o

Anyway, I hope jennie can see the characters at least, no use putting it there if you can't even see what it is.

Hehe I see those squares. Where can I get a 'language pack' so I can see them?

If you're running on a PC, I would suggest this:
    office.microsoft.com/downloads/2002/ie_ja.aspx

It's by Microsoft, so it should be fine for your system.

I think that is just allows your machine to use those symbols... language packs aren't a "program" you can open and run.

Maybe you can find the one you're looking for here:

HAHA! I figured it out. There is no such thing as AYLA in japanese. Her name in japanese is Eira

    which means

    AYLA = エイラ

that's why the character you posted for the A was wrong, because there is no ayla in japanese.

    cool thank you guys :D

Figure it out using this site:
    http://japanesetranslator.co.uk/your-name-in-japanese
    ??

If so, I found that, but thought to let you figure it out on your own! :D

Anyway, since I can't see that (no jap language pack for me) can I ask, is that what I originally gave you, or something you found on the Japanese alphabet site?

Acually, the japanese don't have nything like 'i love you' the closest they have is when a man says to his wive 'suki desu' which is basically a romantic 'i have deep feelings for you' or 'i big like you' if translated literally.

    *EDIT* and its pronounced 'ski-des'

Hehe, I took a little bit of japanese. Can you tell? I didn't get far. Nor did I get a good grade. It was one of those community classes for adults. I was interseted because I'm heavily into anime and japanese arts

I don't know if thiswould help but if it is only one word you want to spell, they have character codes on Google. By the way, your name is Ayla? Hmm that is a turkish name, are you turkish? Or japanese lol?

No hon my name is jennie...

    My daughters name is Ayla.
I got Ayla from a book called Clan of the Cave Bear. And I'm pretty sure its hebrew because in hebrew it means oak.

Her dad was half japanese and half philipino.

If you can't tell by looking at her ;) hehe.
