    Just below and to the rear of the distributor. Follow the large red cable from the positive battery terminal--it will lead you right to the starter motor. Here's how to replace the starter:

    1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
    2. Disconnect the starter cable from the "B" terminal on the solenoid, then the BLK/WHT wire from the "S" terminal.
    3. Remove the two bolts holding the starter; then, remove the starter.
    4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

    NOTE: When installing the starter cable, ensure the crimped side of the ring terminal is facing out. It's a good idea to clean both terminals and connectors with #240 abrasive cloth and coat with dielectric grease.
