    99 honda accord starting problems
My accord has been having problems starting the last month or so. It happens randomly, usually just on the first start up of the day do I have problems.

I turn the key and it clicks but won't always turn over.
Sometimes it'll turn over but is like a slow/rough start.
Today for the first time - it had a rough start but started humming very loud then after a minute or so stopped humming.

I've owned an accord before so I've already ruled these things out: not the main relay already replaced the battery. Any thoughts or tips to help me figure out this annoying problem?!

Remove and fully charge the battery--many auto parts stores will do this for free. You need to rule out the possibility of even a new battery being drained. If it starts normally, after charging the battery, focus on the alternator. Humming may indicate a bad alternator--most auto parts stores will also test these for free.
