    Hippa Law
My fiance's sister works for a pathology company that received the tumor and results from his surgery. She came to our house and told him what she thought was the results. She also shared the results with her in laws which have shared them with the whole town we live in. The results she gave us turned out to be wrong. Is this a violation of any kind of laws such as the hippa law?

    |F she said what she thought were the results and said that it was her thoughts and not any information from work since she was wrong I don't think it was a HIPAA violation but I can't say for sure.
She should be more ethical and not do things like that though

Agree with "No help." Was her opinion based on the lab work or symptoms? Was she giving out knowledge that she acquired through her job or was it just an educated guess on her part?
