    Child Skin
I am giving my 4 yr old daughter small amount raw turmeric in the morning daily. Does it changes theskin texture? Is there any harm in giving the raw turmeric ?

This is your second post asking questions about things you give your 4 year old wanting to know if it can be harmful. Have you asked a doctor or dietitian before doing this? Supplementing your child's diet without knowledge and consult can be harmful. Talk to a doctor, stop giving your child supplements without having done so.

I understand that turmeric has medicinal properties and is used as a herbal medication, but you must be careful while giving it to children especially in its raw form.

From what I know, turmeric is normally mixed with lime,or honey or caraway seeds or even boiled in milk before eating/drinking it.

Like Chey mentioned I would get the help of a doctor or dietitian before continuing.

As far as I know turmeric is externally applied on the skin, for skin treatments.

I agree, you should be asking if its harmful FIRST. And then only giving it to your child AFTER you find out if its safe.

WHY are you giving your 4 year old termeric? At for a simple child's vitamin is plenty for her.
