I cannot remember the title or the author. This book was about two brothers. Their mother had a cleft lip. One of the brothers grew up the be schizo and reading the bible a lot, he cut his hand off. The book told a lot about the brothers relatives. I remember at one point an older woman was telling a story about killing her husband by crushing glass in his food.
