My name is cody and I'm on felony probation for my 3rd dui in ten years, I'v been on probation for 17 months now and I want to know if it is possible to get off probation at 18 months which is half, I have completed everything I was supposed to and paid all of my fines. I am an perfect probationee I quit drinking when I got on probation and have not gotten in any trouble since I have been on probation, thank you for your time.

You can try after more than 1/2 is completed but in the end it's going to be up to your sentencing Judge what he wants to do. Some Judges don't release probationers early and some do. And since this is your 3rd DUI your particular Judge just might not agree to an early termination. At any rate, just keep doing what you are doing and after 3/4th of your probation is successfully completed, maybe he will release you early.

Cody - it doesn't work that way. The attorney needs to file a Motion for Termination of Probation. You do not get to speak with the Judge in his chambers. They don't do it that way. They do it strictly on paper and strictly by the book.

You will have to try for a hearing, I guess one question if you don't drink why does it matter, but at least around here, you have to do about 2/3 of the time to be considered and even then they often say no.

Sometimes the Judge will schedule a hearing, sometimes not. A friend of mine had her probation terminated early when her PO did the paperwork and had the Judge sign it. She did not even see the Judge as the PO handled everything for her. (Not a usual scenerio by the way).

Sometimes the Judge wants to see you at a hearing with your attorney but first the attorney must file the appropriate paperwork with the Court.
