    Drippning toilet
After flushing my toilet has a constant light water flow into the bowl. How do I stop it?

I would have a guess that your toilet
    Is a CAROMA.
You have a problem with the seal of your plunger.
    Dismantle the plunger,
Take it to a hardware store and get a replacement.

    After you press the button.
Wait for a while and then press the button lightly, if you feel that it is catching,
The plunger is working O.K. if it is not
Give the plunger a few pulls up and down.
    It is somehow sticking.

Calling a plumber every time is expensive.
If you cannot get it to work properly,
Then get a plumber to help you.

    No big deal.
It is very annoying and also wasting precious water.

Open the tank and tell me how high up the water level is compared to the over flow tube, should be 1" down from the top. Overflow tube can also be a source of this problem.

Bob stated good, check the water level it should be 1" below the overflow tube, and check the small tube to be connected to the overflow tube, see the Images below, Thanks.

You better not stop it. What you see is the ballcock supplying water to refill the bowl. This is norma unless it won't stop after the tank fills, Is that the case? (and if that's the case then you must reset the water level in the tank because it's spilling out in the overflow tube,) and to stop it would result in a poor flush or none at all. My advice? Leave it alone unless you have to set the tank leval. Good luck, tom
