Ok there is this girl and we are around each other in different socal environments i.e.. In church or just hanging out. And the thing is I like her and I think she like me. And my question is what would be the best way to ask her on a date and find out if the relationship has potential.

I think this is just me but ask out. How well there is no proper time or place. Just go for it. How, just be straight forward. Beside girl like when a guy is a little shy, but my man confidence is key. If she says yes make sure you take her somewhere you can actually talk. So you can get to know her. Not the movies, clubs or anywhere with loud noise or lots of people close by you. The park is a good place, maybe plan a picnic. Make sure you express your like for her and plenty of interesting conversation.

You could say something like: "Hey, I see you around a lot, so I thought I'd introduce youself" and go from there. See how she reacts and respond accordingly.
