I want to know how soon a landlord can ask for the rent for the next month due... I mean as far as how many days in advance.

He has to wait until due date.
He can ask for it in advance but you are not required by any means to pay in advance. If your rent is due the 1st he has to wait until the 1st.

I guess he could always ask for it, I know our apartment complex does a "drawing" if you pay before the due date, you are put in a drawing for 50 dollars.

But you can not require it till the date due.
