    Leg and arm pains
I'm a 19 year old female, with no known health concerns. I have had leg pains since I was a young child and was told they were growing pains. Well I'm 19 and believe I'm done growing. I get severe leg pains from the knees down, it hurts to walk, it hurts to even lay down. I also get the same pain in my arms, but usually never at the same time my legs hurt. Heat seems to relieve the pain but only just a little. I have noticed it only happens at night. Does anybody have an explanation?

Perhaps it's a calcium deficiency? Have you been to a doctor about this?

If you massage your calves or arms, does that hurt?

Yes it does hurt to massage them. A heating pad does relieve some of the pain

You said it hurts to walk. You also said the pain is only at night. I'm confused.

Let me try to explain myself better. Yes I have the pain only at night while getting ready for bed the pain will start and it hurts to walk to my bed or walk to get the heating pad.

I strongly suggest you see a doctor. It could be a circulation thing, or maybe some form of fibromyalgia.

What do you do during the day? Are you on your feet all day? Are you overweight?

I'm a nurse, and I am on my feet, literally, 12 hours a day. I can feel your pain, but mine is usually in the morning/afternoon when I wake up.
