Lapdancing. A mans opinion would be great
My longterm serious boyfriend said to me on valentines day last year that if I ever tried to give him a lapdance he would laurgh in my face.
It was very hurtfull to me, I asked him why and he just said he couldn't take me seriously, maybe he would just be embarrassed? But he's had lapdances in night clubs before he met me so its not like he doesn't like them
The most confusing thing is - I'm fairly attractive with a good body, I have lots of sexy pretty underwear to use and play with oh, and I am ACTUALLY A DANCER! As my job, I'm a dancer!! (not a stripper, I dance in music videos and do shows etc.. ) so if anything I would be amazing at it.

I feel really hurt, why did he say that to me?

Probibly because he can't take a woman that does lapdances or dances nude seriously, and he does you. Look at it as a mental partition... you dance (as in real dance) = Good, they dance nude, do lap dances with horney guys = bad.

Its really not something bad from his perspective... I think you actually doing it would blur the line for him. I however have no problems what a man and a woman do together, with each others consent.

Personally, the lap dance thing I never really understood. That's about the worst sort of tease there is. Naked woman rubbing up all over you and you can't touch her or Bubba the bouncer takes you out to the alley to tenderize you a bit.

Sounds to me like he loves and respects you too much to have an image of you like that. That's a good thing.

Why don't you ask him? His idea of a 'lap dance' may be very different to yours.

It may just be a matter of interpretation. Talk to him.

You may find that you can do a very sexy dance for him and he'd love it - if that's what you want to do!
