    A/c Not blowing air inside
A/C Unit not blowing air inside. It does get cold or hot depending on if I set the t stat to a/c or heat it just doesn't blow air at the vents. Outside unit turns on. I use 3 month filters and last changed it 3 days ago. I cleaned cold air intake vents. I don't see anything really strange but it still won't blow. I have turned off unit and turned on the fan as I saw suggested in other posts. Landlords say if it is something we did we have to pay for it. This unit has never been serviced nor have the ducts been cleaned in the 8 years we have been here. Could it be something we did that caused this?

If the fan runs when turned on at the thermostat then at least for now you have A/C. I seriously doubt that you caused the problem but it should be checked out by a professional that YOUR landloard hires to do the repair.

It should be inspected at least every 2 years at most. Also the 3 month filters say up to 3 months. I tell most of my customers only use for one month or two at most. Also don't buy the 20 dollar filters. They will cause harm to system. Buy the less expensive ones.

Thank you for your promt answers. Turns out the capcitator(sp?) (The thing that turns the fan on) shorted out. He said it was due to the blower fan being dusty. He also said not to use those 3 month filters and that they need to be changed every month. Thanks again and I will have to be more viligent in changing that filter. Is there any thing I should be doing other changing the filters? Do I need to vacuum the ducts or anything? Thanks.
