I'm living in the dorms up here in college and there's a girl I kind of like who lives on my floor and is always in my room. She's OK to talk to and hang out with but she's kind of weird. She has some attractive qualities, and added with the personality she's all right.

I've never had a girlfriend before, and I'm not sure how to approach this. At this time I think that I have to decide if we're going to date or be buddies or friends (or maybe I just don't know I'm talking about)... I'm confused.

What should I do?

Judging by what you've stated about her, (or rather, how you've stated it) I would suggest just being friends with her. I would advise taking more time to think on this woman with considering on making her girlfriend material. You don't seem certain yet.

I do not mean to be rude, and forgive me if I am, but if she is "alright" that's not good for girlfriend material, in my opinion. Unless of course you want all right. As I said though, I think you should take more time to consider this.

Take your time there is no need to rush your friendship or a relationship.most good relationsjips start as friendships anyway.also if you start as friends have a relationship perhaps the fact you were friend before the relationship will make it easier to be friends again.

Be friends , hang out, get to know each other, no pressure ,no strings, just fun.

Im going to have to play the advocate here, bro... I say GO FOR IT! I mean... why not? Your in college and have NEVER had a girlfriend?? You need to get started. Don't try waiting for the "one"... a man needs to practice having girlfriends before he will have a chance at obatining the "one."

Your in college... have fun. I don't mean go around being a d*** and hurting girls... but make your intentions clear from the get go and go for it!
