Do you mean blank DVD's? Would suggest to use a brand name as opposed to what's on sale with a name you may not have heard of before such as, Verbatim, Sony, Memorex

Info on VCD - Video CD
    Quote:

A compact disc format used to hold full-motion video developed by Matsua, Philips, Sony and JVC and introduced in 1993. A Video CD (VCD) holds 74 minutes of VHS-quality video and CD-quality sound using MPEG-1 compression. A Super Video CD (SVCD) format was introduced that uses MPEG-2, but playing time is reduced to as little as 35 minutes. Introduced three years before the first DVD players were available, VCDs did not catch on in North America, but were very popular in Asia. Video CDs can be played on current-day CD-ROM and DVD drives as well as CD-I and 3DO players
MP3 would be an audio format used for songs/music etc..
    Quote:

Standard technology and format for the compression of audio signals into very small computer files. For example, sound data from a compact disc (CD) can be compressed to one-twelfth the original size without sacrificing sound quality. Because of small file size and ease of production from CD sources, the MP3 format is very popular for transmitting music files over the Internet
DVD is just the type of media that information is stored on
(music, data, video, movie etc.. )

    Just basic info above
