    Bonded and insured
How do I find out About being bonded and insured for a small private bisiness I want to start. The business would be cooking meals for people in their home. Thank you; dsellhorn.

Who is requiring you to be bonded, do you have some customers wanting it ?

You would get businesss insurance though any full line insurance agent

    Hello d:

You don't need a bond... I'd like to have someone cook for me, but I'd NEVER think of asking them if they were bonded.

BUT, if you think it would help you, then you can certainly purchase a bond from your insurance agent. They'll be only too happy to sell it to you.
