How much do you get for each child on your taxes?

What do you mean? The exemption? Child care?

You don't "GET" anything, you are allowed to deduct certain amounts from your income for each dependent you have.

You get one extra exemption deduction for each child.
    Your EIC may increase.
You will get child tax credit or additional child tax credit for each eligible child.

If my memory serves me correctly, my daughter was 2500, and it could go as high as 4000 for a child, and as low as 1500 (please don't quote me on that, I am going off memory from my filing back in February lol)

But chuck and mukatA are right, its not that you GET that money, it's that it is applied as a credit to your taxes, and you end up with a return for it.
