    Sticky kitchen faucet arm
    Hello.

The kitchen faucet arm (where the water come out from) always starts sticking not long ( 1 week?) after I put in the (2) new O-rings and coat them with silicon grease.

What can I do to keep it from sticking all the time?

    Thanks.

    Sticky in Pittsburgh.

    Hi Sticky:

I would take this apart and grease the o-rings again. This time add some extra grease onto the interior of the spout assembly where the o-rings will meet the metal. Reassemble all and see how that worked. That should resolve this for you...

Thanks, Mark. I have done that... many times! About 10 times. No kidding. I think possibly the O-ring needs to be different material?

You may have used wrong type O-rings, please tell us the brand and the model number of your faucet, because some faucets has life time warranty for parts and you will get the correct parts for free, Thanks.

It is a Glacier Bay brand (Home Depot). I'll check with them again and see if they have ones specifically for Glacier Bay vs. the 20-pack in the faucet supply aisle.

    Thanks.
