Hi

My wife has been experiencing pain in the palm of her right hand. The pain is mainly in the palm area but also extends till the elbow.

The pain increases severely when she applies pressure with that hand. We have consulted reputed orthopaedic and had medication for over a month but to no use. He had said that a vein has swollen. He requested a months rest which we followed but once she starts working with that hand the pain increases.

Kindly suggest what medicine or hand exercise will help?

She needs to ave an mri. Physical therapy would benefit her.
