WEll my friend "BOB" he and I have been friends since 1st grade and he knows i like him and he likes me he is always there and understandin and all:) but i dont want to go out with him for some reason like i guess i'm scared but i dont mind going out with him i have before and i really really like him trust me but what do i do i am so confused call me crazy but i dont know any ideas people i need help i really like him but when i with him i just dont want to go out with him but when i'm away i do i just LOVE HIM so HELP ANYONE as soon as possible:(

If you don't feel comfortable when your with him, I would say no. I don't doubt that you love him, but there are a lot of different kinds of love, or your just not ready to be that close and intimate with him. Don't worry about it, your heart will make up its mind eventually. But if you really love him and want to be with him, take baby steps into a realationship. Much luck to you.

You probably have mixed feelings about going out with a friend and that's quite common. Actually I don't see the harm in it. When you come right down to it, don't you want to go out with a friend? Would you rather go out with a stranger?

I was best friends with the girl I ended up being with for 7 years prior to our relationship starting.
I never thought we could be a 'couple' as such, but I fell in love with her and to this day is the only girl I've ever loved.

She is now my ex but it was the best 7 years of my life. No doubt. Our closeness prior to our relationship helped us so much when we were in it. We knew one another so well.
And I miss her dearly. Ive lost my best friend.

I think being good friends with someone is the basis you need for a successful relationship. Just as long as it isn't too friendly.

You have to find the right balance and you have to one day be willing to perhaps lose your greatest friend in the world. And boy does that hurt!
