Position of a L2 visa holder after divorce
I am on a L1A visa my wife is on a L2 visa. We have recently divorced. Is she allowed to remain in the US until her I-94 expires ( providing she does not leave the country & try to return ) or does she have to leave sooner. If she does what is that time.

If she is divorced, she is no longer qualified as an L-2. The USCIS allows for a "reasonable" amount of time for her to either change status or leave the US. The CIS or CBP officer would say she has a "facially valid" I-94, but since she is no longer married to an L-1A, she is no longer qualified as an L-2.

I trust this is responsive to your inquiry.
