I signed over the rights of my 8 yr old daughter five yrs ago. My step mother gave me that option only or child services. I was going through a tough time & thought that was best for her. Now I have my life together & I only want visitaion rights so she knows I'm her mother & I love her. Is this possible & does anyone know how I should go about doing this? I live in FL.

Did you allow someone else to take custody (and only custody) or were your rights actually terminated? If it was the custody then you should be able to get visitation rights after going through the right steps in your state/county. However, if you rights were terminated then you are not her mother and will not be allowed access unless her parents allow her to have a relationship with you or she turns 18 and wants a relationship with you.
