I am getting a large plasma TV and mounting it over my fireplace. I have speakers in the ceiling connected to a stereo receiver. How hard would it be to connect the TV and dvd player to the speakers?

Is it a real fireplace?(Heat)
Connect the Audio of DVD into Receiver input.
Out of Cable or Satellite box into Receiver.
If you have no box, and Cable or Antenna go directly to TV, Then connect the audio out of Plasma into Amp.
In the TV menu, it allows a choice of fixed or variable output. Steady or iy works with TV remote volume.
The only audio out is on the side of the TV
Here are some pictures of the back of the stereo receiver, side and back of the plasma TV:

I would try the red and white audio out on side of TV into the Amps CD input.
Here are pictures of the back of the components I will be using. I want to listen to the TV through the stereo speakers and also the DVD player. What is the easiest way to make the connections? I have and audio optical cable for the TV to the receiver and RCA connectors for everything else. I have cable coming in directly with no box and no HD.
Thanks,
Patty
