My dog macy has been "pregnant" for 7 weeks. She looks pregnant and she acts like she is, but when we feel around her stomach we don't feel anything moving. She is eating quite a bit and she drinks a lot to. She pees almost every hour, but never seems to poop. For the last couple days she hasn't pooped and I'm getting worried. Is this normal for her not to poop? Is it bad for us not to feel the puppies moving yet?

She could be going through a false pregnancy. Often you can't feel the puppies, however.

Your best bet is to take her to the vet and get an x-ray taken of her.

As far as constipation goes, I believe pregnancy can cause some form of it. She should get checked out by the vet anyway, if she hasn't recently.

Yes it is normal that you can't feel them moving yet, we couldn't feel ours moving until the final few weeks, you could even see them moving around in there, amazing but kind of creepy to watch.

Please get your dog spayed after this litter (if she is pregnant) Only expreinced breeders should breed dogs as there can be many complications as well as (and I appologise if you have) most backyard breeders do not health test their dogs and do not breed for quality.
You should also have seen and been part of several litters being born and gone through the pregnancy with your breed mentor.

Take her to the Vet. And has Shaz has mentioned, it's dangerous to have uncontrolled breeding. Once, several years ago, when one of my Great Danes was just a puppy, he got out, and got with my landlady's small framed Lab and got her pregnant. The puppies were too large for her to handle, and it killed her. I bought her a new one, but as we all know, you cannot REPLACE someone's dog. The vet did an autopsy, and she was full of little Harlequin Great Danes.

They are driven to breed, by every chance possible they will get out and... Well, good luck, I hope all goes well. But don't take any chances with your loved one, go to the doctor.
