Help me find movie about God & a woman in desert...
I woke up in the middle of the night and caught the last half of this movie, and I want to get it. I can't for the life of me remember who the leading actress was, but I think the actor was Ed Harris(?). It was about a woman and her daughter who had went out into the desert to wait for God, who had told the mother to wait for Him there. Apparently, God had spoken to the mother and told her He would be there, so she took her daughter to the desert with no food or water because she fully expected to go to Him. Anyhow, He didn't show up, and they waited a long time until the mother finally shot her daughter(so she could go to God), but, she couldn't shoot herself because people who kill themselves won't go to God. The movie goes on to show the end of the world when the Lord comes. There were trumpets sounding and figures on horses coming from the heavens. Has anybody seen this? Please let me know. Thanks.
