Hello.

I had a wellsfargo account last year. I had even forgotten about it. Now I get a letter saying I owe them money (it doesn't say how much money) for a service called vsafe.

I don't even know what a vsafe is. Let alone signed up for it. I ONLY signed up for a checking account back then, and they said nothing about anything called vsafe.

Since I obviously have not signed anything about wanting vsafe, nor did I agree to any charges, do I have to pay this? I sent them a letter saying that I didn't know what vsafe was and they must have mistaken me for someone else, or there was a mistake on the account.

My account was only opened for a month and then closed, so its been closed for 11months or so.
