Hi, I was wondering why so many astrologists are incorrect with their predictions? I was curious as to whether astrology really goes hand in hand with predictions of every day subtle events (such as money, love, lifestyle, habits.. etc) or rather more to do with global events and galaxy/universal changes? Or maybe it's just that minimally conscious people live in a more predictable manner in hand with their horoscope... etc I don't know. Personally, I've never in my life had any prediction from one thing or another come true or seem at all relative to my personality.

It all depends on what you believe. Some people swear that tracking someone's astrological chart can predict what their futures hold.

Now, the everyday astrology predictions in the paper are just lumping everyone into one group. There are other things to consider, like the day you were born, whether you fall on a cusp, the year etc. etc. etc.

Do I believe in it? No. I do think it's interesting though.

I don't think it is accurate for whatever reasons but I do believe the stars do hold some significance in our lives like the moon holds the tides.

I haven't really bothered to look into this (countless possibilities are circling 2012, I figure my intuition works well enough) but the basis of all my work and study is focused towards what I personally feel is going to happen. I want to do something great and enlightening for the world, but I need to "fix" myself first. :P

I'm starting to figure that astrology does have some accuracy in predictions, yet there's just too many potential possibilities and factors in life that might change and warp who a person is to give a spot on description of them. For instance, most of the predictions I've had tell that I've got a silver tongue and fantastic leadership skills. Yet due to many of my childhood experiences I have horrible confidence issues that run so deep that even the purest of logic can't change it. Otherwise, I'm damn sure I'd show those skills, I'm just afraid to express them.

As far as personality descriptions go, I think they lean more toward a person's natural potential more so than the exacts of who they are at the moment.

Yeah I have been telling people when I do their numerology for them that people accumulate baggage through the years that over rides numerology, especially if they are into drugs/alcohol.
I don't believe 2012 is the end but the beginning of the end. We are in the first stages but by 2012 things will be better set up and be ready to really hit the fan, but not THE END.

Yeah, for a while now I've been noticing a lot of people talking about how people's sense and affinity for the spirit have been growing over the past few decades, A few of the books I've been reading have been mentioning this too, even on talk radios.. etc. I personally feel there is going to be somewhat of a merging of planes, possibly of the spirit and physical. I mean the bible says the Kingdom of Heaven will come to earth.

I also believe that Jesus wasn't the only one capable of what he did. I've read the aquarian gospel, and although there is reason to question it's legitimacy, it's wisdom just feels SO pristine. It's about the life story of Jesus found and recorded from the akashic records. Within it you find that his intentions are to show man what they are capable of. That men are more at one with the divine than they realize.

I mean can you really imagine living in a reality where you are condemned to only watch but not experience the way of life of Jesus? To be without sin, to be absolutely at one with god in the living and have the ability to stave suffering? In my opinion there is obviously a misinterpretation.

For some reason a couple months ago I've been drawn to these books and articles as if I've been lead by divine intention. All this information come together has shown me what I'm sure is the truth.

It started with 'Initiation into Hermetics' which covered the physics of our reality.
Then 'The Power of NOW' which showed me the truth of what "self" and "identity" are, that we are ultimately conscious entities, and the meaning found within the phrase "I can't live with mySELF any longer". That because we identify ourselves as our mind, our ego, our collection of though patterns and beliefs, we fail to allow our divine consciousness to grow and let us see our true self.
Then followed 'The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ' Which showed me that Jesus became who he was through what I had just learned, which is clearly explained within the Gospel. It speaks of conquering self.
Soon came 'The Secret' which signified that the consciousness that gives life to our thoughts corresponds with a universal consciousness and shows not only how incredibly powerful thought is, but how unaware we are of the unity that exists between all things.
AAAND then the Kybalion, Emerald Tablet of Hermes... couple Deepak Chopra books and even a book a stranger at a bookstore BOUGHT for me out of nowhere. All of these also confirmed my theories and experiences.

Right now I'm studying energy frequencies. I'd had an idea about how one moment I'd have free access to incredible wisdom which carried with it a distinct feeling... and other times how I'd be stuck in a state where even when I realized my capabilities, I couldn't experience them, I was blind to whatever controls are necessary to maneuver these states. One day I was at a bookstore and I just picked up a book out of the New Age section just because I liked the looks of it. It covered exactly what I needed. The science and mechanics of our spiritual anatomy, how to become more intuitive and sensing of energy signatures and frequencies, how to raise our own personal frequency, allowing us to access our beta, alpha, theta delta.. etc mind sets at a more manual level. Soon after I found Energy Secrets which I'm using to cleans myself. Now that I've become more "aware" I can feel the utter disastrous state my health is in, this has become a necessity.

Hope this was an interesting read, It just kind of happened out of nowhere. :P

Ask yourself this question ; how much does the time of year when you were born (which is all astrology is) have to do with much of anything at all?

You have to watch because often they do have some off the wall stuff on there.

The reason that predictions often do not work is because we have free will.

I believe in Astrology, but it can only show you the potential or probability for events or occurrences.

As an example, you may have your chart done for the next 12 months, but this will only provide an indication or a probability that something will happen - whether it happens or not is dependent on the choices that you make during that time.

Gemini is right there are so many variables.
Like also if a person does drugs or alcohol they are so out of sync with where their life is meant to be.
