I did some surfing and found that the artist is Larry Latte... but search as I might I could not find any information on the man.

... seems his stuff brings top dollar, though...

PS. I understand that the initials are LJ (not LL)... but you will find that where those items are for sale, the vendors/sellors are indicating that this is the mark of Larry Latte.
