If this is even an issue for you I'm thinking you need to go. I know it's hard I've been there but people who tell you these things love you.

What country do you live in, if the US what state.

Who has reported you for abusing your meds.

But basically you may be ordered to stop using them if you are using them and not needing them. The court could order you on probation, and put on drug tests to see you don't use that drug.

So many "ifs" you have to fill in some blanks for us

I agree with chuck, there are many different possibilitys and you haven't given enough information. (sorry chuck, I know it looks like it but I'm not following you ;) )

If you are in the US:
If you are using drugs, and refeuse to stop, and its affecting your safety, or the safety of others, then yes, you can.

I'm not sure outside of the US

    Hello c:

By the cops?? No. You aren't breaking the law if they've been prescribed. By anybody else?? No. This IS a free country.

The question is do you NEED to go to rehab? Are you in fact abusing your pain meds? I know the addictive nature of them, first hand. I've been to rehab, THREE times. But I'm clean now. So, my question to you is, what's the whole story? Please let us have it, ALL.

I agree with jm, I was addicted to codine at one point and thankfully I was able to help myself get over it, and now I refuse to even take it in the first place.

However if you are not able to help yourself, you may need outside help, and a rehab is the prefect place for that.
