Should I be friends with my ex-girlfriend even though I'm in a relationship?
Hey... Um... I'm new at this but here goes:

It's been a year since my girlfriend and I broke up... we both tried being friends but we get into fights and don't talk for a month or 4 months... I still have strong feelings for her... and she tells me that she cares about me... but still wants to be my friend... and a lot of her friends that I have know idea of knows my name and ask me about why I broke up with her... I never said a word... anyhow... we dated other people... but she interferes a lot... I mean A lot!! Now I'm dating her friend... they aren't really friends... and she tells me her feelings about my relationship with my new Girlfriend... I told her my feelings after she dated 10 of my friends... and the way she acts towards my music... (She thinks Jimi Hendrix, and SRV sucks... that's why I dumped her) and how she really never cared for me for who I am... she wanted me to be a mormon goth... I like being who I am... I don't know... I feel like I want to be her friend... but all she does is flirt with me... and it pisses off a lot of my gfs... right now she commented on my pictures on Facebook and it really really made my girlfriend mad...

What should I do? Should I be her friend? Or what?

Dude, sounds like she's interfering in your life in a not so good way. I can't say I especially dig the reason you broke up, but it seems irrelevant for the question. If the ex is causing issues you need to stand up for your girlfriend and tell her to stuff it or get out of your life. Why would you put up with this? I would never tolerate a friend of mine treating me this way. Get this girl out of your life as soon as you can before she causes you even more issue. You may have good intentions behind trying to remain friends, but it's CLEARLY not working out for you.

She WHAT?! That wasn't an indicator she was a little out there?! Block her from your online networks and delete her from your phone. Friend's just don't treat you like that.

    You're right.

And besides I'm going to move to Austin Texas and that will give me a chance to change everything and kick her out of my life. I am strong and I have a better relationship with my new girlfriend and I am happy.

    Thanks :))

You will never be friends until you both grow up. Leave her alone. You both sound like young kids.

Love her from a distance, a long far distance with NO cable cords attached.

There is no law that states you must remain friends with your ex. Your ex loves drama and loves toying with you.

However, I am glad your moving because you seem to be a little scare of her and she is up to no good.

Have fun with your new girlfriend and leave the past in the past.
