H had posted a question titled: foul smell in the bathroom after it rains heavily and in the mornings
You suggested clorox and boiling water which worked great, and I was thrilled. It rained a couple of times and it seemed like the problem was resolved. It also stopped raining for a while. Unfortunately it started raining again and the smell has come back with a vengeance.
I had yet another plumber come out and he suggested the smoke test which he charges $800.00 of which $400.00 would go towards the repairs. He said he uses a machine which uses a substance which is non toxic. My husband doesn't like being hooked like that into choosing him for the repairs. There was another guy who had suggested the smoke test but he said his was toxic and the charge was $500.00
I don't know what to do. Who to trust.:confused::confused:
I tried calling you on skype but the system said "user not recognized"
Please let me know what you suggest... thank you
