    Server blocking laptop
I have a sever attached to an at and t modum and I get internet When I try my wirless laptops I get local acess only. If I unplug the server I can get access and internet on my lap tops, It is my guess that the server is blocking the laptops from getting internet, I have a static ip address. Any idea how to fix this so I can get internet on my laptop without unpluging the server?

Change the laptop to automatically get an IP. Or change the DHCP address range to make sure it includes the static IP.

Does your server have a DHCP server running on it?

Your server DHCP Scope Options probably was not configured to hand out the proper IP address for the gateway and also was likely not also setup for the DNS servers for your ISP. You can use local DNS but your local DNS server has to be setup to forward all non-local domain requests to your ISP DNS servers.
