89 civic turns over no fire
So I have a 89 civic si hatch bought it a couple weeks ago guy had to push start to get it started.drove it home ran fine.got home wouldn't turn over just click-click.changed starter now cranks over fine. Now, I have no fuel,no spark!fuses are good all the way around, all grounds are connected. Now my check engine light is staying on and doesn't go off,do not here fuel pump priming.tried a different main relay and ecu from a local salvage yard.im out of ideas, any help or ideas would help out a lot.do not have money to be dumping into it either.

. Test all under dash and under hood fuses with a test light or multimeter:

Be very thorough, and don't blow through it, since it can save a lot of time and money. Be sure to test the ACG (S) (ALT) fuse in the under dash fuse box.

. Ensure the ECM is an exact part no. match. Since the CEL stays on, the problem is caused by a bad fuse, ECM, main relay, or ignition switch.

. Perform K-Test on the ECM.

All right I will give that a shot when I get home and let you know what happens a.s.a.p.

Be sure to also clean the main ECM ground on the thermostat housing. Likely, it has 3-wires going into a brass connector. This is my favorite type of problem to help people with. We WILL get your car running!

All right well when I got home I started performing the tests you provided me with.I did the
"K" test, had no voltage at the connector, not even 0.01... I felt like I had a good enough bite on the tstat ground but was unable to stab it like I would have liked to... so doing that test I seriously feel when I got the car and drove it,then when I got the car home and tried to turn it over and it wouldn't,I tried the screwdriver trick on the starter... I feel I seriously overloaded the ecm.oh yeah when the car was running,I only had my tstat ground hooked the moter ground wasn't even there(ive added one now),and the battery ground had a ty connection.so anyway I ran the main relay harness test to,had no voltage to my black and yellow I think it was.so either bad ecm,or it was saying something about a ACG fuse?? Don't know what fuse that is exactly.oh yeah and how exactly can you check your fuses while there still in place with a multi meter?? tell me what you think..
    Oh yeah thanks

Here's how to use your multi-meter to tests fuses, without having to remove them:

    It's super simple.

Did you have the ignition switch turned to ON (Position II), when you performed the K-Test? If you did, then your ECM is shot. Get an exact part no. replacement for your ECM, so remove your old one first:

Yeah it was in the "on" position and I had no reading... looking at my ecm it's a pm6.if the ecm was good I should have got some kind of reading on the voltage.im really leaning towards the ecm to being bad... I wish I knew somebody w/ the same ecm as me... I would try there's before I buy another one.. but if your leaning towards the ecm too, then its got to be.. but if ecm is bad, when I did the main relay harness test I had voltage on some wires... just not that black and yellow that went to the ACG fuse... is that possible w/ a bad ecm?? oh yeah you know what yhe ACG (alt) (s) fuse is??

Based on the K-Test results, I think your ECM is toast. Just be sure you have tested all of the under dash and underhood fuses with a test light or multi-meter first.

Hey tx I was checking my fuses again,I don't have no juice getting to my "starter signal" fuse. Now when you check this fuse,do you have to be turning the car over to get juice to this fuse?? Oh yeah now its not even turning over.. its not doing NOTHING.. any more ideas will be greatly appreciated.. I
