Can't turn my hot water boiler off?
    Hi,
    Can any one help me?
I moved into my house 2 years ago and was always surprise that we didn't need to put our water timer on for long but always had hot water.
Now over the last 3 month due to the hot weather we haven't had our water or heating on at the timer at all but still always have hot water. The only way to turn it off is by the mains switch.
    Any Ideas?

Are we talking water heater or a hot water heating system? Gas fired or electric?
Please give us some details to work on. Regards. Tom

Its my main water system. We have the timer set on off (water and heating) but still have hot water. Its gas fired and as far as I know we have no emursion switch. When I turn the mains switch off everything goes silent but generally I can't hear the water tank making any noise but the gas boiler does fire up and make noise. Does that make sense, sorry don't really understand heating systems.
