Had sex with my ex dureing my period and than 6 days later with my boyfriend and about 5 weeks later I was pregnant who could have fathered my child. I am very confused about this situation. Heard many stories about being on your period that yes you can because you ovulate 5 days before and after period. Can someone please help me.

You'll have to wait it out until the birth, then have both men DNA tested to determine paternity.

A regular woman's cycle is that you ovulate 1 time per month. 14 days after your period, 14 days before, not 5. Just to clear that up.

However, women's bodies do vary and it IS possible. Wait until the baby is born and do a paternity test to be sure.

As you have been told, there is no way to tell, the sexual contact was too close together.
