Hi, I had a miscarriage five weeks ago and had to receive a D&C. I was told by my doctor that I should get my period within 4 to 6 weeks and that if I wanted to start trying to conceive again I could start straight away, so we started trying to conceive about 3 and half weeks ago. Last week approximately 8 days ago I started to get this brown discharge and I have had it ever since. Yesterday I got really bad cramps but still no period. Is this normal? Could I be pregnant but just to early to tell. I am very confused please help.

I am very sorry about your miscarriage I know that feeling and it is pretty bad , but hopefully you and your husband can lean on each other and get through it.

A brown discharge and cramps could be a few things it could be some kind of infection? You could be pregnant again , but also you said the discharge is brown and usually that is a sign of old blood you know like when blood is stopping it will turn brown because there is no more oxygen in it that gives it is bright red color so obviously something is going on and you really should see your Dr.
