Hi I have a dell 518 desktop it is less than one year old, but I need a power mac for recording music. It has a quad core 2.4 ghz processor, 3.00 gb of memory, a 450 gb hard drive and it comes with a 22in monitor. It has Microsoft office 2003 and all of the standard programs.

Any help would be great, because I just need to keep as much money as possible.

don't know a thing about computers and value, I just bought a used lap top yesterday and it sold for about 1/2 of the value of a new one.

O all right thanks. This is a powerful computer, but its not right for my type of use, so I want to sell it. I looked up the price of buying a similar computer today with the same specs, and it would cost $1200 so I was thinking that $1000 would be a good price.

Anyone think otherwise?
