Cold water handle spins because stem is stripped; how do I repair this

If the stem's stripped then take it in to a plumbing shop and have it replaced. Make sure you know the brand name of the faucet when you go in.
However, if the threads in the valve body's stripped then you'll have to replace the faucet. Regards, Tom
