Sounds like he loves you but doesn't think he he good enough for you and that you deserve better.

This could be because of either him having a low self-esteem, or that he has done something he hasn't told you about that he is not proud of.

Talk to him before you do anything and see why he is saying you should find someone else. Good luck

Sounds like he's really confused about his feelings. Better ask him what he meant by that to clean the air before jumping to conclusions.
