    Federal probation
My federal probation officer told me that after a year I can file a motion for EARLY TERMINATION OF PROBATION , but I can afford a attorney to file it. Can I file it myself to the courts. My judge is very easy. Please help.

    Hello j:

Write you judge a letter making your request. In the letter, ask the judge to consider it a motion. Send a copy to the prosecutor and send all your letters certified, return receipt requested.

If it won't work that way, you'll find out... But, it should. No matter how easy the judge is, the prosecutor will argue against it.

If the PO is going to talk for you, good chance, as long as all fines and payments are completed
