I live in Des Moines, IA, I am starting up an office cleaning company. I am in the process of getting my certificate, I am wondering if I can get some help on how to bid a job. I got a building that the owner told me to put a bid in, its my insurance agents building it has 2 hallways 7 x 88 ft both and a small office on the bottom floor that's all he wants cleaned the office is about 700 sq ft, the total area about 2400 sq ft. He just wants the hallways vaccumed and dusted and same as the office. Can I get help on how to bid this job? I was calculating about $35/hr cause one business here charges about $40/hr. Then I thought about .07 cents a sq ft but wasn't sure help please.
Since I'm just staring out I am taking 10%-15% off for the first year.
