    110 vs 220
I am going to buy a knew window AC 15,000 BTU or larger will I save on my electric bill if I get a 220 unit?

    KISS

Not enough to be significant. You might save on installation costs. 240 is always recommended for high wattage appliances.

I would be surprised if you find a 15,000 or bigger that runs on 120 volt
If you do tell me where it is
I know people who are looking

Negligible operational savings, but possibly some added longevity with 220V.
