I have a 10 year old daugther and a week before she starts she is really mean and annoying. Does anyone know what to do.

They get younger all the time. There are many theories as to why this happens from increased sunshine (girls that live in the south) to preservatives in our foods.

I agree with the above advice. Now is also a good time to teach her that, while she may feel nasty, it is not acceptable behavior.
